Since 2006 Bristol Radical History Group has organised a wide range of local history related events, including walks, talks, musical events, reconstructions, filmshows, exhibitions, trips through the archives and story telling. They also publish pamphlets and host an archive on the website.

The Newcastle Community Heritage Project began in 2005 and is run by Newcastle City Council in partnership with the Heritage Lottery Fund, Age Concern Newcastle, the University of Sunderland, the Newcastle Elders Council and up to twenty community based charities and voluntary groups. The Victoria Tunnel Project walks along a restored 1840s underground waggonway, 700m long, are what catches the eye.
The Berkshire Echo is the quarterly newsletter of The Berkshire Record Office and can be either downloaded via the web or sent as an email attachment as and when the latest issue is published (email: firstname.lastname@example.org). It's so well designed that I just enjoy looking at it. It's also a good read.
